Customize the Platform to Your Brand
It's not just the Backstreet Boys, everyone wants it "That way". Customize your Coding Education Platform so that your learners feel at home.
Partners & Clients
At CodeTribe, our vision is to allow you to look and feel amazing while launching your seemingly "In-house" coding platform. The solution and pricing is oriented for those who are planning for scale, with both a compelling price and seamless white-label solution.
Once you've subscribed and paid the setup fee, you can add your customization preferences so our development teach can setup your in-house version of the platform.
Time to Customize
Here's where you submit your customization preferences.
Usually this is done after you have selected a package and subscription.
Customize the Platform
Add your primary, secondary brand colors to make everything from modals and profiles come alive.
In case your primary color doesn’t lend well to websites, add an alternative brand color so we can test and recommend an outcome that works for everyone.
NOTE: Your primary color refers to the main color you are using for your brand.
FORMAT: Preferably in HTML Hex format. Example: #ff0000 (See more: https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp )
This is the brand listed in the platform and is often the same as the domain you use.
Examples of Coding Brands: Grandcoders, CodeJIKA, CodeTribe, GirlsWhoCode, Tynker, CodeHS, etc.
Domain for Platform Setup:
Note: The platform setup will be done on a subdomain of your domain, usually, “me.example-domain.com”.
So if your domain is “Grandcoders.com”, we would install the platform on me.grandcoders.com.
Square Brand Logo:
Note: Ideally the logo format should be transparent PNG sized 200px by 200px.
Feel free to add additional versions of your logo if you’re not sure which one will look best.
What would you like your “Groups” to be called?
Some ideas, but you can choose your own:
- Class/es
- Club/s
- Hub/s
- Hive/s
- Group/s
- Anything else that is fun and engaging.

FAQ
Whitelabel Customization FAQ
- Please fill out the “Whitelabel Customize” form (above) to tell us about your preferences.
- As soon as we get that critical information it gets passed to the technical team. They then spin-up your version of the platform and begin adding your deets.
- Once complete they provide your developer with the nameservers/IP address to point your sub-domain to (so that users will see the platform when they visit that url.)
Usually this process includes some communication and takes up to a week or two.
Yes. You have up to 30 days to test things out and swap them around. Like colors, preferred messaging, and even the domain, if that’s really not working for you.
After that we encourage owners to try and minimize major changes. However, we hope to offer a dashboard for brand-management in the not-to-distant future.
Yes. Please make sure your logo looks good as a small square.
If it doesn’t look good in that configuration you have two options:
A. Remove a logo and just use a text brand name.
B. Adapt or create a version of your logo that does look good as a small square.
Keep in mind, this is ONLY for inside the platform. On your frontend site you can retain your logo however you prefer.
